Exclusive: Dream Trippers self-titled debut album is out now!

Dream Trippers

Jukebox Time is today sharing an exclusive piece of news about artists Bob Workman and Brian Cottrill. Known for their scintillating music, the duo now called Dream Trippers have released their self-titled debut album. We got a special sneak peek into the album and were blown away by the dynamism of tonality ingrained in the songs. The album comprises tracks titled The Original Atom, Sleeping In A Dream, Fade To Black and many more riveting songs. With a terrific blend of sublime arrangement and power-packed rhythm, The Original Atom is a captivating number. Whereas, Apple has a jarring effect that cajoles the singer into listening to this track with extra attention.

Overall Dream Trippers have an amazing amalgamation of distinct vocal nuances, upbeat yet experimental vibe, spectacular rhythms and brilliant sonic structures. And therefore Jukebox Time highly recommends this album.

About the artist: West Virginia musicians, Bob Workman and Brian Cottrill had played in different bands together before. But they wanted to go in a very different and unique direction and decided their best lineup for a new band would be just the two of them. “I got an electric sitar, and we started coming up with some very different sounds, similar to 60s psychedelic rock made by The Beatles and The Byrds,” says songwriter/guitarist Brian Cottrill. “And the songs were not just weird musically, they were also very different lyrically from anything we had ever done. The songs are more existential and introspective, as well as being a weird mix of awareness of self and the universe around us.”
