Jukebox Time recently got a chance to interview Darren Freeman in regard to his book Plated Armor. We got insights into his book, his source of inspiration and much more!
Q1. Welcome to Jukebox Time! How are you doing?
Great, just getting ready for the new book release may 1st.
Q2. Your book is now available online! Please tell our readers about your book.
Yes, it is available on line you can pre-order it now. It a story of a senior and Rookie Police Officer working Evening Shift patrol when they come upon several people being Human trafficked into the country on a pier in their jurisdiction. They were also bringing in several million dollars in cash in backpacks. Once they stop them a federal law Enforcement agency comes driving in the dock area where they had them, and that is where the story gets explosive, these two officers are in the fight for their lives.
Q3. What motivated and inspired you to write this book?
I must give credit to the Former DHS Secretary Mayorkas, and the Human Trafficking coming into the country and all the people making money on others suffering. I felt this could be a situation that could have and probably did occur to a certain extent. The factual poor communication between Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies, and just straight corruption.
Q4. Any tips or advice for aspiring writers?
Never give up or stop writing. Nothing is impossible.
Q5. What’s next? Which book or project are you working on now?
I am concentrating on this new book. I already have interest from certain people of turning this book into a Movie. So maybe you will see this on Netflix, HULU or Apple.
Q6. Finally, as we ask all our guests on Jukebox Time, do you have any closing thoughts that you would like to share with the world and our readers?
Yes, if you decide to purchase this book please keep an open mind and hang on, because you are in for one hell of a ride…
