Jukebox Time is today featuring KNIVES and SINNITEE’s new album. It is titled JUNK and comprises tracks the feeling you get when the food doesn’t taste as good as it smells, NASCAR3000′, noise lemon, putt blug (Bonus Track) and many more innovative tracks. The irony is the title of the album JUNK which seems like a creative camouflage utilized by the artist, whereas the tracks are totally breathtaking and something we haven’t heard for a long time in the realm of music these days! Or maybe the reason behind the title could be something else, however when we sat down and listened to the album, we were awed and amazed by the sheer range of tonality ingrained in JUNK.
the feeling you get when the food doesn’t taste as good as it smells is an unconventional track with captivating synth sounds creating a jarring effect. The beats are exquisite with an otherworldly arrangement. i wanted a 9 to 5, why am i still sad has that bass-laden arrangement with a complex composition that has wide-ranging tones and textures. The beats are simple yet evocative.
Max+ (Bonus Track) is a phenomenal track with a striking orchestral vibe but with a blend of heavy experimentation that is improvised as the track progresses.
Overall, JUNK is a significant juncture for the artists pertaining to their creative expression. Conveying a distinct musical concept with a blend of artistic disarray requires boldness and rawness from the artist and that is what JUNK is all about!
The album is currently streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
