Jukebox Time is today featuring the new album by artist Andrea Pizzo and The Purple Mice. To craft an album with a meaningful message and evocative yet vivid musical experience is not an easy task per se. However, when it comes to Andrea Pizzo and The Purple Mice, their new album Potatoes On Mars truly astounded us and it is a musical gala in itself! The sonic unconventional aspect of songs like Among The Stars and Keep On Searching is marvelous. Roberto Tiranti does phenomenal work in the instrumentation department for the album. Whereas all the artists of The Purple Mice group amazed us with the unique creative expressions that they executed in the album.
The title song Potatoes On Mars is an upbeat and peppy number with deep lyrics and enthralling guitars. Whereas, Pale Blue Dot is a mesmerizing folk ballad with an emotional element attached to it. The source of inspiration for this song is none other than the photo of Planet Earth taken from Voyager 1!
The lead singer Andrea Pizzo has a striking vocal texture that actually charms us and entraps us in listening to this magical space story that he conveys brilliantly. Andrea’s intonation is clear, conscious and filled with raw emotions that jarred us into inspiration, melancholy and intrigue about life and the universe.
This sensational EP is currently streaming on all major music streaming platforms.
