Interview with Curran Nial Williams aka NIAL THE ARTIST

NIAL THE ARTIST

Jukebox Time got a chance to interview Curran Nial Williams also known as NIAL THE ARTIST. We got insights into his new short story The Strokes Of An Artist, his daily writing mantra and much more!

Q. Welcome to Jukebox Time! How are you doing?

NIAL THE ARTIST: I’m actually doing amazing another day, another 24 hours to go get it & another day to praise the lord.

Q. Your new short story The Strokes Of An Artist is now available online. What can readers expect from this book?

NIAL THE ARTIST: Readers can expect a ride of drama, desire & declaration. They can expect words to be said that they can’t read anywhere else. I really broke the limits with this one. Feel me?

Q. Any daily writing mantra or tips that you follow in order to stay creative

NIAL THE ARTIST: I usually write whenever it comes to me. I pray every morning before I listen to any beats or anything. These stories are all honest so the events of course would have to take place but God gives me my creativity & drive. The only problem is maintaining that sacral energy as it’s your sexual energy as well. It’s almost like picking between creativity & sex a two sided moon.

Q. What’s next? Which book or projects are you working on now?

NIAL THE ARTIST: As far as music, I’m currently mixing my next project, I want to make a small short EP to end the year off right. As far as books, I’m actually in the process of writing my next book called “JUMA”. It’s based on the the slavery revolt except Juma has powers. Instead of all the heroes who died in the revolt like Nat Turner, he leads a revolution group called “The Black Arc”. It’s crazy honestly can’t really say too much. I always wanted to give the real heroes the acknowledgment, while appealing to the readers.

Q. Any advice for aspiring artists?

NIAL THE ARTIST: It doesn’t matter where you started, who you started with or how you going to get there if you have a dream you must be willing to do whatever for that dream. I’ve faced every adversity you could think of & God still has me here on this interview to tell you about it. Keep going & stick to the plan!

Q. Finally, as we ask all our guests on Jukebox Time, do you have any closing thoughts that you would like to share with the world and our readers?

NIAL THE ARTIST: I want to say good looks for this interview. Be on the look out for my new EP & new book dropping soon! Also grab merch at bewareofdreamers.com & never stop believing. The power of faith will get you where skill can’t.

About the artist: Curran Nial Williams (born February 24, 2001) better known by his stage name NIAL THE ARTIST, is an American singer, author, fashion designer, record producer, and songwriter from Columbus, Ohio. NIAL THE ARTIST began his career by forming Capitalaires Records at age 15 because he didn’t think labels would be interested in signing him. Nial wanted a way to express himself in a way people could accept. Not knowing that the search for acceptance will never end. He then decided to publish his own works through streaming services, bookstores and he started his own label. He understood the quality of one’s own works. Nial began writing songs, play scripts and comic books at a young age. He didn’t know where his talents would take him, he wanted to fulfill all of his purposes. He pursued music the most but with owning a label he knew he would need merch and that birthed the idea of fashion design. He often looked to Jerry Lorenzo as inspiration due to his christian faith. He decided to start his own brand “BEWARE OF DREAMERS” so he could incorporate his own looks and designs. Nial tried going to college where he attended Central State University for two years after discovering he couldn’t learn his skills at a school where everything had to be self taught.

The book is now available on Amazon!
